Welcome to AFTERWARDS. If you’ve found your way here, it’s lovely to have you. Thank you sincerely for spending a moment of your busy day getting to know me. My name is Tori & I wrote this book after my son Hamish was born on the 31.12.2019.

As all babies do, Hamish welcomed such wholesomeness into my life. Smiles, love, excitement & gratitude. With his arrival however also came a ticket into the postpartum playground … the most bizarre terrain I ever did see.

New mums go through a lot of adjustments … some fab, some not so fab. But at least we can all do it together? We laugh together, cry together & all the rest. Life is too short to be lonely so enjoy this book & enjoy your little sugar.

Tori started her career at 21 years old, managing talent for Vivien's Model Management in Melbourne. After a period of time at the agency, she moved on to work in a one-on-one capacity with talent who aspired to build nationally recognised brands & transition into Australian ambassadors. A decade in this space saw Tori's role range from project manager, to lead writer & designer. When her babies came along at 29, first Hamish and then George, Tori's eyes opened to the world of motherhood. This quickly become a space where she found such joy, contentment & amazement. Publishing AFTERWARDS in 2021, a book that explores the postpartum landscape ... with special focus on the 'nitty grittier' aspects to life post birth, Tori watched as the book quickly became a dependable form of support and friendship for women in Australia and abroad.

From that point, 'mum-chat', became her vice as she was truly blown away by the strength & potential held by every single woman in this world. Copies of AFTERWARDS have since sold in France, the UK, the US, United Emirates, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Germany and Sweden. Given the particular style of Tori's writing offered a growing community such solace, Tori chose to extend her platform into video production. She formally launched Tori Bowman Creative Productions in 2023, and kicked it off with The First Word {A Modern Day Mother's Group, For New Age Woman}, her first production. With the core aim to ensure all women had readily available access to conversations that were specifically ignifted for them, TFW has seen a world of women come together & realise they're never alone in their triumphs or struggles. Covering topics from fertility, to postpartum, to their career, parenting, mental health, loss, self-worth, health & wellness, relationships, culture, sex, style & more, TFW has found a hungry audience.

March 2023 Tori launched her 2nd book, the prequel to AFTERWARDS, titled BEFORE. In the same vein, BEFORE deep dives into the world of the pregnant woman in the modern era, shining special focus on the elements of pregnancy that may lead women to feel alone, isolated or just a bit 'ick'. At her core, Tori is a curious creator. She learns from people, she leans into challenges & she is committed to enhance the potential of all women - whether they're mothers or not.
