Herbal actives:
Peppermint
A classic digestive aid and carminative. It is also rich in antioxidants and has been shown in numerous studies to have significant antibacterial, fungicidal and insecticidal properties- beneficial against many common bacterial pathogens and candida.
Chamomile
Not only prized for its unique honeycomb/apple flavour, but for its ability to calm the central nervous system, soothe the intestinal wall linings, relieve inflammation, and prevent bacterial and microbial infections, such as colds and the flu.
Lemon Balm
The Middle ages used as a sedative and the ancient Greek & Romans used it for wound healing. A mood enhancer, lemon balm has calming and anxiety-reducing properties. Digestive upsets related to nervousness often find relief with Lemon Balm, as do some cases of colic.
Calendula
A most impressive flower, the marigold possesses powerful, almost magical healing abilities. It is rich in a variety of organic compounds, including glycosides, saponins, and other powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds.Internally and topically, the extract can promote rapid healing.
