Remember to wash Lactamo before you use it. Simply give it a wash in warm, soapy water or throw it in your steriliser.

Each Lactamo has a best before date of 1 year from the date of purchase.

HEATING
Submerge Lactamo in hot water for 3 minutes. The water can be as hot as desired depending on your preference, ranging from lukewarm to boiling. Lactamo can also be heated in a steam steriliser. Do not heat Lactamo in a microwave.

Before Use - Make sure Lactamo is a comfortable temperature by rolling it in your palms for 5 seconds. Lactamo is designed to only reach temperatures that are suitable for breasts (not too hot).

COOLING
You can either place it in the freezer (ideally for at least an hour) OR submerge it in a glass of iced water for at least 3 minutes.

Top Tips - Freezing it for longer will keep it cooler for longer. Lactamo mums like to buy 2 balls and keep one in the freezer so it’s always cold and ready to help (because you never know when that might be).

TIPS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR LACTAMO
1. The way that you use Lactamo is important and depends on your (often varying) needs: make sure you always follow the instructions for your needs.
2. You can repeat steps in the instructions as preferred.
3. When using Lactamo during a feed make sure it doesn’t interfere with your baby’s attachment at the breast.
4. Your breasts are working hard. When using Lactamo only apply a gentle amount of pressure that feels comfortable for you. Remember: lactating breasts are sensitive and massaging should feel supportive, and never painful.
